Welcome to a Community Built Specifically for Emerging Nonprofits
Next Stage launched Cultivate Impact in 2018 as an in-person incubator to foster inside-out community transformation for emerging nonprofit founders and social entrepreneurs. In May 2022, the workshops moved online to provide more equitable access for organizations in Charlotte and beyond.
The goal of the Emerging Nonprofits community is to help develop social sector leaders’ abilities to build effective and sustainable nonprofits across five capacities – leadership & strategy, human resource management, program development, financial resources and marketing.
Here’s what participants can expect:
- Five, self-paced course modules including highlight videos, written lessons, video testimonies and more
- An online workbook where participants can reflect, brainstorm and turn learnings into action steps
- A member activity feed to spark ideas, ask questions and build relationships
- Invitations to in-person events and connection opportunities to expand personal network
- Support and encouragement from the Cultivate Impact Moderator
Next Stage understands the time demands and bandwidth limitations of emerging nonprofit organizations and their leaders. That’s why we designed each course to be consumable in less than an hour. By investing one hour a week in the curriculum, participants can complete all five modules within five months and by completing the module workbooks along the way will end up with a strategic plan for their organization.
Cultivate Impact is an online platform for social good change-makers, powered by Next Stage and hosted on Mighty Networks.
This new collaborative forum provides a place to convene for the purpose of redefining best practices across a range of needs and issues by utilizing live events, valuable resources, courses and social connection. Welcome to the new intersection of social good champions committed to making a positive impact!
