Ellie Wilcox joins us this summer as our Community Voice Fellow. A biology major also minoring in public health, Ellie comes to us as part of Davidson College’s Nonprofit Leadership Fellows program.

A rising senior, Ellie is a volunteer Spanish teacher at a local elementary school. Additionally, she’s one of the service chairs for a student organization that raises awareness and funds for those with HIV/AIDS. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with her friends and family.

Ellie is excited to join Next Stage as our Community Voice Fellow this summer. She has always had a passion for justice and equity. Additionally, as an aspiring public health professional, she understands that the conditions in which someone is born, plays, grows up, lives, and works play a major role in their health outcomes and quality of life. So, she wanted to spend her summer working at an organization that fuels social impact and helps address the problems that ultimately lead to health inequities. Her role at Next Stage presents the perfect opportunity to become further involved in the Charlotte community and learn more about what it’s like to work for a social enterprise company.

Join us in welcoming Ellie to the team!
