Last Thursday, Next Stage hosted a graduation event for the 2021 Cultivate cohort. It was an inspiring and significant day for several reasons.

First – and most importantly – we are grateful every year for the time we get to pause and celebrate the accomplishments of these incredible leaders. Emerging organizations are driven by passion, motivated to support their community in new and innovative ways. This year’s cohort was no different. Each of these leaders are bringing meaningful change to a range of issues across the Charlotte region.

If you missed last week’s virtual event, there is still time to watch! Each organization shared learnings from their year in Cultivate and shared their vision for the future – don’t miss these incredible insights from six of Charlotte’s most innovative leaders.

This graduation was especially meaningful to Next Stage for another reason – it marks a major milestone in our firm’s Cultivate journey. We launched Cultivate several years ago because we so strongly believe in the strength and importance of emerging organizations. Our community needs their innovation, their motivation and their passion. But every year, we have to choose just six organizations to benefit from the curriculum and coaching in the Cultivate course.

Beginning this May, Cultivate is shifting to an online platform, available for free to any emerging organization in Mecklenburg County. We opened registration for that program on Thursday here. If you meet these guidelines – or know an organization who does – sign up to gain access to content and a cohort that will help build a strong foundation for any emerging organization.
